DOD- Draft on Delivery
DOD is a dedicated doorstep delivery service intended to enable the expansion of customers’ business to every corner of the country with the guaranteed and instant realisation of payments in the form of drafts. Under this service, the consignor can instruct ZIPFLO to collect a demand draft equal to the invoice value of the goods shipped from consignee on behalf of the consignor. Later, ZIPFLO ensures the safe collection and fastest dispatch of the draft to the respective consignor. Consignments get delivered only upon the receipt of the payment instrument from the consignee/ recipient.
In case the shipper does not wish to give credit to its consignee, and the client wishes to pay only after the receipt of the shipment, ZIPFLO’s Draft On delivery (DOD) service takes care of the same document. We collect a Demand Draft in the shipper's name and hand over the same to him. Thus, paving a way for smooth commerce where consignor need to establish its brick & mortar presence or hire sales personnel to execute the sales & collect the payments. Consignor, sitting at the convenience of one location can expand its business in any corner of the country, & at the same time feel assured of its payment at no additional expense by availing this service.
This service is apt for scenarios when consignor intends to be sure of its payments without and does not wish to give credit term to the consignee, our DACC service takes care of the same. We collect a DACC from consignee and hand over the same to the consigner. Thus, paving a way for smooth end-to-end logistics operations.
